Welcome to Angry Snowboarder VIP. Oh, but you’re saying to yourself, “Isn’t this just Patreon?” The short answer is that it is, we just utilize their platform for our VIP membership service. It seems a bit classier and it’s easier to remember when promoting it. Plus if anything were to happen we have a name that makes it easy to change platforms with. Brief History: &nbsp; Back in 2008 The Angry Snowboarder was formed. It wasn't anything extravagant and it certainly didn't seem like it would be here 12 years later, but it is. When it started there were almost 100 snowboard blogs, websites, and media entities. Of those that were there in 2008 we are the only one that remains. Over the years we've broken stories, created some humorous comedy pieces, and done our best to define the other side of snowboarding. In the last three years we’ve extensively expanded into YouTube and other mediums with hope to continue that. Which brings us to the year 2020 and everyone knows we are not living in normal circumstances. The Future: &nbsp; For the immediate future we've set some goals that seem achievable but we can't do it without your help. Are you willing to do that? We want to bring on new staff which will allow us to expand our review offerings, including finding women. We would like to build on the ideas of what we've started here in the last three years and push that to the forefront of snowboarding culture. We aim to create new engaging entertaining content, promote snowboarding as how we see it should, and create a thriving community of snowboarders. The Goals: &nbsp; When it comes to discussing goals there's two that need to be looked at. The short term and the long term. In the short term we want to continue to keep making you killer content that engages you and keeps you stoked on snowboarding. The long term is to build a lasting legacy that positively impacts snowboarding while maintaining the counter culture that it has always had. Both of these goals are directly achievable thanks to support from snowboarders like you.&nbsp; Thank You: &nbsp;&nbsp; Seriously thanks to everyone that's ever visited, watched, or engaged us in what we do. 12 years is an eternity on the Internet and yet some of you continue to come back and see what we're doing.&nbsp; Hopefully you new members will continue to come back and support us. I know in these uncertain times it's hard to think about snowboarding or the future, but we appreciate the support you've given us and look forward to serving the snowboarding community further.
